Telangana Chattisgarh Border – Exchange of fire took place between the Maoists and the Police Officials in which More than Ten Maoist leaders and one Greyhound constable were shot dead in an encounter in the forest areas of Chhattisgarh and Bijapur district of Telangana Border. Along with them six women were also gunned down in an encounter at Tadapalagutta Punjari Kanker forest areas. This incident took place today Early morning when a joint collaboration of both Telangana and Chhattisgarh states began a combing operation in that area. According to the available information around 50-60 maoists have gathered for a meeting when an encounter bombarded they dispersed and secretly isolated to faraway places.
The Police are searching all over the forest like hunting dogs to nab the Maoists who escaped from forest. There is a speculation that Top Leaders of Maoist group dead in this encounter. Civil Rights Activists yet to identify the bodies. This exchange of fire claimed the life of a greyhound constable Sushil Kumar. The injured security personnel were admitted at a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The Police recovered two AK-47 Rifles an SLR and force INAS rifles from gun-shooting place.
