Its Major damage for CPM in Tripura. Twenty five years of ruling came to an end. BJP completely sweeped in Triupara, the state of North East India. BJP won in 43 Seats out of 59 MLA seats in Tripura. Where the ruling party CPM left only with 16 Seats. While Congress party didn’t open the account in the State. Today Assembly election results were declared in the north eastern states of Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya. Surprisingly in Nagaland the election result was Hung. Two Political parties got equal share of seats. NDPP took 29 seats and NPF also got 29 seats out of 60 Assembly seats where the magic figure is 31 to form the government. Two other seats where claimed by other parties. We have to wait and see who will form the government in Nagaland where two parties stood with largest score while both parties are away from 2 seats only to grab the power. Interestingly in Meghalaya no party got the Magic figure to rule the Government. In Meghalaya Congress Party played well by grabbing 21 seats and stood as largest party but far away to reach Magic Figure which is 31. In this State NPP won 19, others got 17 but BJP wins only 2 Seats out of Total 59 Assembly Constituencies.
