Samskruti Foundations ‘Say No To Plastic” Launched
In view of dangers caused by plastic, Sri Bodhamayananda Swamyji requested all citizen of Hyderbad not to use plastic to save our environment as well as human. GHMC in collaboration with Samskruti Foundation ‘Say No To Plastic’ in Hyderabad also launched at Sri Ramakrishna Mut.
His Excellency Sri Sri Sri Bodhamayananda Swamyji of Sri Ramakrishna Mutt,Hyderabad had launched campaign of ‘Vivek Band Be Good Do Good’ of Samskruti Foundation, Hyderabad. While lauding the enthusiasm of SF and the way the conducting of the programme for engineering students in the twin cities, he expressed and advised students to be good enough to be good citizen of this nation. While expressing his grief and anger over the present day youth addicting to 3 Ds such as Drink, Drug and Dance and advised all students participated in the programme to be good to do good to our own society. On this eve he had given many examples Swamy Vivekananda. Sri Swamiji also held that best utilise the programme being conducted by Samskruti Foundation.
Knowing about Samskruti Foundation Valuable programme Janardhan Reddy, IAS, Commissioner, GHMC has also expressed his concern about the dangers of using plastic which affect the present day generation as well as to future generations. He also felt happy over participation of Engineering students from different colleges from Hyderabad in Vivek band be good do good programme. He gave a call to all participants to involve in ‘say no to plastic’ to bring awareness among citizen.

The main programme under Vivek Band Be Good Do Good, students to undertake 5 types of social activities such as, visiting rural areas to campaign about health and education for all and surveying socio economic conditions of that village they visit and creating awareness among citizen the dangers of using plastic so that stopp usage of plastic – the specific concern of GHMC to segregate the waste ie. plastic and non plastic, spreading awareness of donating Eye and Blood to serve the needy of the society And to raise the participation and donation to impart education to our own brotheren who lives in tribal areas through EKAL Vidyalayas.
