Still the Series of Controversies are hunting Movie Padmavathi

The much anticipated historical film Padmavathi is still struggling to get released in Major Part of the Country. Three major states which are ruled BJP imposed ban on this movie. Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana governments have decided and came to a conclusion that a ban should be imposed on the film and not to be released in their state. The Central Board of Film Certificate has suggested to the Viacom 18 Motion Pictures the makers of this film to rename the tittle as ‘’Padmaavat’’.

The film is slated to be released on January 25th worldwide. They released a new advertisement listening all disclaimers, clarifying controversies that the film has suffered from the critics. Large group of Rajput karni seva protested against the content of the film. Apart from it, they also raised slogans during the film shooting and burnt the effigies in agony. The epic film is an adaptation of Sufi poet Malik Mohammed Jayasis. It has huge starcast Rani Padmavathi (Deepika Padukone),  Shahid Kapoor(Maharawal Ratan Tata), Ranveer Singh (Alauddin Khilji), Sanjay Leela Bhansali is the creative director of the film is paying a heavy price. Even though the film has cleared the CBFC screening it is not permitted to be released at nearby theatres. The film makers condemned the remarks commented by critics saying that their prestigious film had no intention to tarnish or misinterpret the role of Rani Padmavathi  in any manner nor it will hurt the legacy of rajputs. Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Rajee suggested to the film makers to implement necessary changes in the film before it gets released. It should not hurt the sentiments and emotions of any community. Films are meant only for entertainment purpose and not to provoke any communal riot. Before the film is released it bagged the rank of highest controversies and let us wait what happens next after release of movie?
