Telangana Government striving hard to make the city to that of a world class

Ramakrishna Rao, IAS, Principal Secretary, Finance, Dr. T.K. Sridevi, IAS, Commissioner, CDMA, Dr.B. Janardhan Reddy, Commissioner, GHMC has flagged off the 150 auto trolley tippers today at People’s Plaza, Necklace Road.
While addressing the gathering Mayor said that as per the vision of the CM and Minister for MA&UD the GHMC is striving hard to make the city to that of a world class. In this connection already 2000 Swachh auto tippers were deployed earlier in which the Solid Waste collection of garbage has increased from 3500 metric tons to 4900 metric tons per day.
The Govt., of Telangana has decided to fill up the gaps in door to door household garbage collection and in addition to 2000 auto trolleys another 500 No’s have been decided for procurement out of which 150 auto trolleys have been given to the eligible candidates to take up the garbage waste from households to improve the collection of garbage in the twin cities and remaining 350 autos will be distributed among the beneficiaries very soon said the Mayor.
These vehicle is being designed with separate partitions of wet and dry and also having provided with GPS system so that where the vehicle is being transporting the garbage etc., can be known with the help of this system and in built public address system has also been provided to create awareness about the segregation of households with proper signage’s etc.,
The 150 beneficiaries existing garbage rickshaw pullers who have obtained driver eligibility have been selected through circle level committee and the Swachh auto tippers are being allotted to them under the ongoing Swachh Survekshan 2018. In addition to the last modle improvement include – GPS, Public Addressed System inbuilt proper signage for better usage of the vehicle said Mayor.
Baba Fasiuddin, Deputy Mayor, Chinthala Rama Chandra Reddy, MLA, Dr.B.Janardhan Reddy, Commissioner, GHMC, has also addressed the gathering. Standing Committee Members, Corporators, senior officials of the GHMC and other Govt, heads of the department have participated in the function.
Vijaya Reddy, Area Corporator has proposed vote of thanks, later on all the concerned AMOHs in the presence of the Deputy Commissioners and Zonal Commissioners of their concerned circles have handed over the auto trolleys to the eligible beneficiaries.
